What is working well and where the gaps are.

1 Access to clean water for drinking and hand washing available

2 hand washing facilities located near the classroom and toilets

3 toilet's are available and clean by the cleaners and also separated by gender to improve privacy and hygiene

4 peer health clubs and teachers were used to sensitized emphasize hand washing after using the toilets or before meals

Dustbins provided in classroom and around the school for waste disposal

Where the gaps are

1 lack of funding that led to insufficient supplies of soaps, dustbins and hand washing containers

2 maintenance for some toilets

3 insufficient water supply or quality maybe questionable

4 insufficient toilets facilities to meet the ratio

5 lack of dustbins for waste disposal and sanitary pads that lead to environmental health risks

Personal contribution to strengthen WASH systems

1 Making awareness campaign during assembly and class to class sensitization on hand washing and clean environment

2 Leadership role.working with peer health and environment club

3 maintenance support.coordinate in filling of the containers, soaps, and hand washing

4 Behavior change.coordinate in waste disposal and motivating

5 Community/school projects.participate in SETSETAL days and tree planting

6 feedback, peer health environmental club will always give feedback after coordinating
