Dear Rachel

Greetings from Freetown Teachers College.  We have finished the versioning of the Toolkit, but I am unable to upload it on the Forum,  Can you please send me your email address so that I can send you the copy.  I have already sent it to Dr. Betty's email and Prof. Junaid.

Grateful if I can get your email.  Thanks.

Warm Regards

Brainard

Dear Peter

Thanks for the great concern for helping.  the problem encountered was about the capacity of the document.  it exceeded the maximum size of 500MB required for upload.

What to do next time? grateful for your technical advice.

Thanks

Regards

Brainard

Dear Brainard

You will see that I have replied to you already, but I was unable to attach the document, having the same problem that you did. However, when I replied to Peter, it seemed to work and so I am trying again here.

I would be grateful if you could let me know if you are able to download it.

Many thanks again

Rachel

Hi Prince,

Thank you once again. The maximum upload size for Moodle is 500 MB. Although Gmail messages can only have attachments up to 25MB in size, when files are too large Google gives you the option to place them in your Google Drive and send a link to share.

My opinion on handling larger files is to upload them into a repository (One Drive, Google Drive or Dropbox) and share the link here in the discussion forum. This way all interested project team could have access to the file.

Best Regards,

Peter

Dear Peter

Just to let you know that I have just tried to upload the completed Sierra Leone version of the Blueprint and Toolkit for Prince Brainard (replying to an earlier post from Bob) and I got the same error message, that the file exceeded 500MB (although it is only 1.8MB).

However, I have tried attaching it here and it seems to have worked fine so I will try again.

Many thanks

Rachel

Hi Rachel,

Thank you for your email. I am trying to recreate the error from my end to understand where the problem is emanating from.  The “Maximum size for new files: 500MB, maximum attachments: 9” should be information and not an error. I managed to download the file you sent, and I have tried attaching it as well (see attached). It seems to work well from my end.  However, I will continue to look into the issue.

Best Regards,

Peter
