1.Common categories of common special Education Needs in my school are; learning difficulties e.g dyslexia , communication challenges (e.g autism), behavioural issues and visual impaired. Impact on teaching needs for tailored support and accommodations , focus on inclusive classroom environments. Some of the leadership decisions i made are resource allocations , policy development and training of staff.
2.I used assessment methods ,observations and feedback to identify SEN learners in my school. Effective tools include Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and small group support.
3.Instructional support could be either targeting an individual or a small group. An inclusive classroom is where every child is being attended to regardless of their physical appearance.
4.I engage teachers, families and external professionals through constant communication by creating a watsap group where all these stakeholders mentioned are in.
5. I have seen improved learner confidence , inclusivity and academic outcomes with reduced behavioural incidents.
