My former school had a gender-based violence involving one female student in grade 6 who was sexually assaulted by a villager boy because she was travelling from our school to a village in Senegal and on her way home, she was attacked by the boy with a knife and because he threaten to kill her, she gave herself up to the boy. After having an affair with the boy, she was crying home and met a driver coming back home and she was rescued and brought to the school, and we took her to the alkali, and she narrated her story and confessed that she can recognise the boy because the boy had a scar on his head. and when she mentions the scar, people knew who she was referring to, and when we confronted him, he denied and we reported the matter to the RED 5N office and later the matter was forwarded to the police, and the boy was arrested. After a while the case was heard at court and the boy was sentenced to prison.
