It is imperative to note that it is very important to have monitoring and evaluation so that it can help guide the processes or the institution.
Monitoring is the art of finding out what goes right and wrong and the way forward for an institution and its findings are used to guide policy implementation and informed decision.
Evaluation on the other hand is trying to gauge performance that will help give impetus to policy driven activities to bear fruits for the institution.
As a head teacher for Monitoring and Evaluation to be effective and have an impact it has be done in a timely manner and its feedback be shared to give the necessary information needed to serve its purpose. It is not used as a witch hunting mechanism in school but rather as a tool to guide in the process of development.
