1.In my school we use SIP to develop alarming issues like to boost performance, attendance and retention and many other things. in decision making we use the SIP to inform stakeholders and take collaborative decision to address those issues.
2. The strategies we use to inform teachers, learners, community is through consultation, meetings e.g staff meeting, PTA meetings, focus group.
3. The challenges we face in implementing the SIP is as follow:
1. lack of community participation
2. high level of illiteracy in the SMC
3. Insufficient fund
4. delay in acquiring fund to execute burning issue
4. To successful in implementing SIP, you need to involve stakeholders and address the burning issues affecting the school, be transparent, proper monitoring and timely feedback.
