The importance of guidance and counselling in schools is very important .This happened in my school with a grade four student ,who had been showing a sudden change in his performance and irregularity in school .The student was invited for a counselling session and she revealed that she had been struggling with family problems and domestic chores and that is the reason for the change. Her parents were engaged and within two weeks her performance change and she was regular.
