1. I have used the SLA to sign with all the staff and also used the PMS document to record teachers progress which is derived from the curriculum planning done by the teachers. This is used to supervise their work and to ensure they are planning their records daily.
2. The challenge we faced is that the ministry was not providing the booklets on time but after repeated engagements they are now provided on time. The other challenge is how to enter the data in the booklet in the booklet but when the regional office provided a training some understanding was derived from the training and is helping.
Teachers are found to be not recording their records on time and you have to be following them always to be able to input the data.
3. The PMS document can be used to account for any teacher who is supposed to write scheme of work, lesson plan and conducting assessment based on the tool it will tell who is writing this valuable records and show the count and who may not be doing it. By teachers seen planning well will go a long way to ensure quality assurance. This will ensure maximal resource use.
a scenario in my own school can show you that teachers who fail to write their records are warned and by the follow week they are found tio have improve on their planning.
