Unit 8 Discussion: Leadership in action - Elevating teaching quality

Here are positive inclusive strategies i can use as a school leader to celebrate teaching excellence and to avoid competition hated and exclusion among teachers.    1 celebrate teams not individuals; instead  of praising individual performance i recognize team achievement.                                                                                                      2Use private praise and public appreciation; I praise individuals and appreciate collect ive effort                                                                                                                                          3 Celebrate growth not ranking ;I appreciate improvement rather than comparing teachers.                                                                                                                                          4 Share success stories without naming best teacher; focus on the achievement not a particular person.
