Unit 8 Discussion: Leadership in action - Elevating teaching quality

Effective teaching is the foundation of learners achievement.In my role as head teacher,i developed a culture where by teachers feel value, support and motivated to grow.The leadership method that positively influence teaching quality is the used of standard and quality assurance observation tools.In my school i provided meaningful feedback,i also encouraged post observation conversation where teachers reflect on their strengths and identify areas for improvement.I also used teacher to teacher (peer coaching)which is another important strategy because pairing teachers to observe one another, share methods and discuss challenges in other to build a sense of collective responsibility for improvement,this has not only enhanced instructional skills but also strengthened their professional relationship because teachers feel more confident trying new approaches methods
