RECORD MANAGEMENT
1.The records I mostly rely on are attendance registers for teachers and pupils ,academic reports ,financial ledgers and learner support files .Attendance registers help me to track and solve attendance related problems on time.
2. Academic report s enable me to monitor pupil's overall performance ,make decisions as well as share the feedback with relevant stakeholders.
3.I prepare complete and accurate financial ledgers that are accessible to stakeholders .This goes a long way in building trust between me andĀ  them .The learner support files keeps all information on how pupils with SEN are supported to give them equal opportunities in their learning processes.
4.I once had an office in a new school built from mud blocks .I bought a metal suitcase where I neatly untilĀ  I got funds to plaster and paint it.
5.Emis tools help in easy and quick ways to keep records. Using digital back ups can save data .
I recommend that all headteachers try to encourage and support trainings on IT particularly record keeping .They should adopt better record management practices to effectively and smoothly run their schools.
