1. In my school context, resource management means:

The effective and responsible use of all resources - human, financial, material, and time  -
to improve teaching, learning, and overall school performance.

In practical terms, it means:

  • Planning and budgeting wisely to  ensure funds are used for priority needs.
  • Allocating teachers and staff effectively based on skills and workload.
  • Maintaining school facilities  and equipment to ensure they support learning.
  • Keeping accurate  records of assets and consumables for accountability.
  • Ensuring transparency in decision-making and spending.

Personal Reflection example:

In my school, resource management means making the best use of what we have to support quality education. It involves careful planning, accountability, and teamwork to ensure that every resource -whether it`s money, time, or materials-directly contributes to students learning and school improvement.

Good points Madam Jawo,

However you left some other questions like;
-Can you share examples of effective resource management practices you’ve seen or implemented?
-How do you currently motivate and support your staff? What HR strategies have worked well or need improvement?
-What changes would you like to see in how resources (human, financial, material) are managed in your school?
