Let me get the ball rolling...
As I explained in today's announcement, I’m the consultant currently helping out with the Teacher Futures programme in Kiribati. I also have a modest additional role of monitoring and evaluation of the global CoP activities.
I left my native Belgium 28 years ago and I'm based in beautiful Mooloolaba, on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. I spend a considerable time travelling, so I'm only here part of the year.
I'm an e-learning consultant and I manage a small company called 'DynaMind eLearning' with my husband. We have a small team focused on helping development organisations design and run their e-learning programmes.
Before I set up the company 12 years ago, I spent 16 years working in Africa (Zambia, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe and Kenya) and a short period in Viet Nam, so the link with digitally challenged environments has always been strong.
I have two sons who are at university, one in Leiden (Holland) and one in Melbourne (Australia). In my free time, I try to be as active as possible... beach and bush walks, gym, etc. I’m also a keen reader and I like reading about a wide variety of subjects: popular science, economics, philosophy, history, literature and of course adult learning… There is so much to learn and I love it all. I am also a real foodie (the eating more than the cooking) with a serious chocolate addiction.
