Hi,
Have you submitted an Abstract for the 9th Pan-Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning (PCF9)?

This is just a reminder that the deadline for submission of abstracts for PCF9 has been extended to April 30, 2019. This gives us more time to prepare and submit abstracts based on the work that we are doing.

For those who may not be aware,  the PCF9 will be held at BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland from 9-12 September 2019. COL is hosting the forum in partnership with The Open University, United Kingdom.

We have already seen some submissions from Sierra Leone and we congratulate the team for their proactive response. It would be nice to see participation from the other countries that are currently implementing COL's Teacher Futures  or have implemented other COL projects in the past. You may submit an abstract aligned to any of the 4 sub-themes of the forum.

Please be informed that there will be a limited number of travel sponsorships to support attendance by delegates who would otherwise not be able to attend. Your abstract needs to have been submitted and accepted to be able to apply for the travel sponsorship. Please see this link for more information.

To see the Call for Abstracts and Proposals, please visit the PCF9 website.

Best regards,
Betty

Hello Betty,

Thank you for this and for the prompt to submit an abstract. I'm glad to learn that our abstracts were accepted and look forward to sharing experience from the INSET programme/training. I have also just read the travel sponsorship opportunity and will submit my application.

Kind regards,

Melisa
