Technology has improve students in learning, communication and socialization through digital tools but also increase the risks by facilitating Gender Based Violence example (cyber bullying, harassment, and on-line exploitation).This raise concern about whether schools are really prepared to protect students online and how school heads can work with others to prevent digital harm.
Are schools adequately prepared to protect students online?
Yes, schools are trying but not fully prepared.How ever the used of social media and private apps are faster than the schools policies in addition school rules often focus on behavior within the school ground and most online harm happen after school hours in which students may feels unprotected or unsure about where to seek help
How can head teacher partner with parents, students and communities
The most effective prevention of digital harm is by involving or engaging parents through workshops where parents are trained on the used and risks of social media, through the training parents and schools shared expectation and students receive guidance.

Engage students through peer mentoring and school councilors when conducting or making rules on online behavior and allow the students take ownership.
With the community,
Partner with important personal and experts and organizations to train and support community members through awareness programs,the community will learn that online safety is treated as a shared responsibility,and not only school issue
Should schools be responsible for online behavior outside school hours
No schools are not fully responsible for students online behavior after school hours but can play an important role that directly affecting students will being, learning environment or safety at school.the school can interven because the impact does not only end at the school gate but can affect the academic performance in class.Responsibility should be shared with parents, guidance and community why schools should used counseling and support rather than punishing behavior that happen after school
