Basically, there are few components in this unit that challenged my thinking. Among them are:
FUNDING : As there are no funding from the ministry, schools find it difficult to buy the WASH materials which are expensive.
SECURITY: The lack of a nightwatchman in the school leaves it volunerable to thieves and other bad elements in the society. As a headteacher, I have applied for the appointment of a nightwatchman, but to no avail.My fear is that if this continues, then the WASH project will fail woefully.
3. THE SIZE OF THE SHOOL: The school is suffering an intrusion with compounds within its premises and this has greatly reduced its size making it difficult to effectively practice the WASH project.
