As a head i used SIPs as a tool to guide my development and decision making. The SIPs is divided into six priorities area called robush

1 learners welfare and development

2 teaching and learning resources

3 community participation

4 teachers professional development

5 curriculum delivery

6l leadership and management

This priorities are evidence based and closely ling to school context and needs. It also help me shape our own development plan, enabling consistency across the school while building leadership capacity and also informed monitoring and evaluation progress against action in reviewing regularly through data analysis and also as a communication tools were key priorities are share with staff, parents and stakeholders in order to ensure understanding of the school direction

Strategies used to involved learners, parents and community

I have involved learners, parents and community members during planning of SIPs were learners represent by the head boy and girl.parents and community represented by PTA members and staff were priorities area were represented .

Challenges faced when implementing

In order to ensure allocation to avoid overloading, strategies priorities into sustained classroom impact and to overcome this i introduced clear criteria measurable and regular monitoring.SMs were supported and trained to evaluate impact effectively ensuring implementation.

Example of successful initiative that emerged from my SIP plan

One successful initiative that emerged from SIP focus on improving literacy areas through evaluation and data analyst as a result Staff confidence increase and classroom practices

Success

1 clear evidence based

2 strong staff involvement and ownership.

Staff were involved in shaping, the approach which increased by training was practically ongoing and directly linked to classroom practices, this enabling Staff to implement the plan
