A school I have visited and supported was in a cluster head teachers' support visit and we realised that the school was doing very well in teachers' professional development and curriculum development and delivery. The data used to verify that the head teacher was doing very well was the development of a training plan and implementation and teachers were doing very well in planning of lessons and there been UpToDate. The curriculum delivery was also track and frequent marking and tracking of children's books.
The gaps we realised were the financial management system and how its records were been kept. So, we helped in creating a double entry cash book and made all the entries made in the bank book that were withdrawn and created payment vouchers and receipts for those transactions. We also created a quarterly financial report and yearly budget and expenditure books.
