the strategies I have used to involve different stakeholders in the planning process of the school improvement plan are:
1. teachers were invited to a staff meeting when we were discussing on the NAT results and what must have been the causes of low performance in certain areas and what could be done to improve it next time. Through that discussions on the causes of low performance and what could be done, we discussed the SIP and what strategies we will put in place to help improve both quality delivery and professional development.
2. learners were invited on the feedback giving and also discussed what must have caused low performance and what could be done to improve on the performance, and they gave strategies that could be included in the SIP that can boost performance.
3. SMCs were also invited to a meeting to discuss on the previous year's achievements and also weaknesses and what could be done to improve next school year and how this can be included in the following years' SIP.
4. A general PTA meeting was also convened where all stakeholders were present, and we reviewed the previous year's achievements and also the weaknesses and ways forward. the general body applauded the achievements and also discussed on the areas for improvement and also laid plans that could be used for a better year ahead. Actions points were also given that could be included in the SIP that will help improve performance and professional development.
