Dear Mr Secka,
I agree with you that there is need for my school to develop policies in order to sustain our gains in WASH. Like I have mentioned in my write-up, some of our pupils are too young to differentiate right from wrong. So, even if everything is perfect, they would still do things their own way. Parents need to inculcate in their young children the habit of using water when they visit the toilet, and also train them on how to sit on the toilet slab without messing on it.
The school can play its part, but it has to start at home.

In a nutshell, the school cannot achieve a successful WASH programme without the support of parents.
