The used of PMS tools (SLA forms templates and manuals in my school played an important role in empowering teachers development and supervision.I used these tools to monitor and give feedback that support teachers professional development.It also help me to work with teachers to identify their strength, performance and gaps which will create a shared understanding of what successful practice look like and guide our focus.
During observation using PMS manuals and observation forms help me to identify areas which will help teachers see their strength and areas for improvement.
2.Challenges using this tools are
Lack of knowledge on how to fill or work on the SLA by the senior teachers
Late working on the PMS manuals because of the work load of some of the senior teachers.
To address this i develop a monitoring schedule which helps senior teachers used PMS tools and give feedback, which help inaccurate data collection and support teachers improvement.
3 The used of PMS play an important role in promoting trust accountability and quality assurance in the areas of learner out come, staff performance and discipline and effective used of resources in my school.I also set target that will help teachers understand what is expected of them in term of instructional and quality assessment practices and students achievement,it also provide evidence of progress and helped teachers identify gaps and Target intervention in curriculum adjustment
