A performance management system PMS promotes accountability and quality assurances in the school system by setting clear standers for learning outcomes, staff performance, and resource use. PMS  ensures that teachers set measurable targets, track leaners progress regularly, and use assessment data to identify gaps and  to implement on time. PMS clarifies jobs expectation, supports regular observations, and encourages reflective teaching. PMS also strengthens accountability in resource by ensuring that materials, finances and  equipment are properly monitored. PMS helps in continuous monitoring with feedback and decision making. It creates improved teaching practice and increase progress in schools.

PMS also help you as an administrator to be able to track teacher level of delivery as far as the curriculum is concern and it also keep all teachers' conscious of the level of completion they are and how much efforts are needed to meet their targets.
PMS also provides a face to face sessions with teachers so as to free up their mind about the administrator not favoring or cheating anyone when appraisal is been done.

The PMS supports teacher development by offering constructive feedback, helping teachers improve their skills, and guiding professional development- not by penalizing or removing staff.
