Dear facilitator,

1. The leadership practises i implemented to influence teaching qualities are;

A. Lesson observation; During lesson observation the SMTs try to identify potential of every teacher and the areas they need support on and we try to organise training on capacity building.

B. Peer coaching; After identifying there support areas we try peer coaching teachers try to help one another on the areas they needed support on.

C. Communication; effective communication sharing information at the right time also works getting everyone involve, it make them to be active and ready to work.

1.How do i balance support and accountability when monitoring instructional practices

I balance support and accountability by treating them  equally and involving all the teachers in decision making and monitoring process in the areas they are best good at.

1. The strategies i used to celebrate teaching excellence is motivation giving awards to the best teacher of the year  and giving them praising  when it is necessary during assemblies, SMT, PTA and SMC meetings and during  the end of year prize giving ceremony.

sometimes checking on the continuous assessment results of the learners can also help you identify the weak areas of teachers due the continuous low performance of students in specific areas of the subjects.

School that engage in regular self assessment, in addition to inviting external reviews from accrediting bodies, tend to maintain higher quality standards,
