1.What does resource management mean to me in school context?

In a school setting, resource management refers to the efficient and effective use of all the resources available to support teaching, learning and school operations. These resources can be human, financial, physical, or technological.

2. can u share example of effective resource management practices you have seen or practice?

Example

A school conduct regular performance review and identifies that some teachers need support on pedagogy to teach number and numeracy. instead of hiring outside trainers, the school identifies training team on those with the subject knowledge and organizes peer-led workshops, saving money and built teamwork.

3. by organizing ongoing professional development eg. on new teaching methods, classroom management or inclusive education which can help staff stay current and motivated.

4. what need improvement in the school is the financial resources, instead spending on everything, the school need to have an active maintenance committee that fix minor repairs so as to save money.

you have mentioned a very key point in managing resources especially financial resources, e.g. establishing maintenance committees that can help maintaining certain minor repairs instead of paying money to help save money. i also would suggest that fundraising committees be created to help raise finance avenues for the school rather than only depending on SIG only.

I seconded that idea.
It would be wise to save some money and organise fundraising programmes to help you elevate some needs in your school rather than depending on the SIG alone.

That would be wise because professionalism is important and key when it comes to issues of the schools.
So bringing in regular performance review to identify where improvement is needed would be great.

This is good, before hiring others outside using those in the school would be better and been the best idea therefore motivating and inspiring them.
