Resource Management means taking care of the material resource and that include even human to effectively ensure the school work well.

EFFECTIVE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT WILL INCLUDE

1. KEEPING A GOOD INVENTORY OF ALL MATERIAL RESOURCES

2. MAKING A TAG ON THE MATERIALS

3. KEEPING A REGULAR MONITORING OF THE MATERIALS

4. PROVIDING A SAFE STORAGE OF THE MATERIAL RESOURCES

5. COVER ALL TEXT BOOKS TO GIVE THEM A GOOD LIFE SPAN

I HELP MY TEACHERS BY ENCOURAGING TO BE REGULAR AND PUNCTUAL IN SCHOOL

I AWARD THEM CERTIFICATES FOR GOOD PERFORMANCE AND ATTENDANCE.


LET ENOUGH MATERIALS BE BROUGHT TO THE SCHOOL I WANT TO SEE THAT MATERIAL RESOURCES ARE ALL KEPT IN THE SCHOOL.

Hello Mr Sanneh,
I agree with you on awarding of certificates to good performance staff it encourages the rest of the teachers to work hard so that they can also earn it during prize given ceremony. It can also be done at the end of every month, eg during assembly you give prize to a teacher who score high percentage on attendance.

Your intended strategies for school improvement could give you a very successful school. I would like you to clarify one thing for me. You intend to award merit certificates to deserving teachers. Then, how do you sanction uncooperative teachers?

Well, you mentioned important points for an effective resource management in a school setting. But, in my observation the one that stand out most is the keeping of inventory of material resources because it makes auditing easy and transparent.
