· Which leadership style best describes your current practice?
The democratic leadership style is what best describe my practice. It enables me delegate responsibilities, which will avail me to monitor and supervise. It creates discission making among or within my staff. Moreover, there is shared responsibilities which enables teachers to take ownership.
· What areas of school leadership including ethics, conflict resolution and instructional focus do you feel most confident in?
Conflict resolution is what I am most confident, reason been
1. Got proper feedback on the shared responsibilities
2. To be able to resolve internal issues among the staff through proper monitoring and supervision
3. To be able to detect individual different needs based on disciplinary policy.
4. I am a keen listener and a good observer
· What areas would you like to strengthen as a headteacher?
The areas I would like to strengthen are
1. To make sure that there is effective teaching and learning during sessions
2. To make sure the monitoring scheduled is strictly followed
3.To make sure that there is an adequate review session/ meeting based on the shared feedback
4. To be able to guide and counsel both staff and pupil
