My name is Anouk and I’m the consultant currently helping out with the Teacher Futures programme in Kiribati. I also have a modest additional role of monitoring and evaluation of the global CoP activities.
It is in this latter role that I am inviting you to the first online get-together of the programme team.

Our get-together starts today (I’m very sorry for the ultra-short notice) and ends on Friday – but our online ‘Programme team space’ remains our go-to online place where we share our work and have conversations on how best to support the Teach Futures programme.
In the ‘Programme team space’ you’ll see that the first link takes you to the ‘Who’s who’ forum. It would be great if we could all start with introducing ourselves.
Then scroll down the page to the section ‘Teacher Futures RM&E Forum: 26 February – 2 March’. I’ve split the themes of this week’s conversations in two different forums, to keep it clear and tidy.
In forum 1 ‘From output to outcomes- based approaches’, we’ll share the activities we’ve completed so far and also share how we think these activities will help achieve the programme outcomes.
In forum 2 ‘How shall we monitor learning outcomes?’, we’ll explore ways in which we could monitor how all of this is improving the learning outcomes in the classroom.
There is also a ‘Anything else’ forum for items that don’t fit in the two ‘themes’ for this week.
I hope you can all spare some time this week to join the programme team. I’m really looking forward to getting to know you and to sharing what we have done so far, as well as what we’re planning in the near future.
