3. Critical evaluation of digital tool/ resource
What: You can also use this activity as an opportunity to evaluate a new resource or tool you are considering using in your classroom in the future. Go to the Google digital skills for Africa website and select a resource that interests you that you may want to use in your classroom/school or for professional development with a group of teachers maybe?
How: Using the Berkeley guide evaluate the resource. The aim is to provide a reliable evaluation you can share with others in the group. One way to think about this evaluation is to consider how this resource might be relevant and useful for you in your own context.
Introduce your post by identifying and providing a link to the tool/resource. Tell the reader why you selected this resource. Explain what criteria or framework you used to evaluate the resource. Provide your evaluation. Conclude by telling us whether (after your evaluation) this is a tool/resource you would indeed use in the future and in what way.
Share: By sharing your review you are beginning to contribute your knowledge and skills online and develop your personal learning network. Why not consider sharing this more widely than just beyond this group? Or maybe sharing the outcome of the whole group as a curated resource that other teacher/learners could benefit from?
