Welcome forum 2: Introduce yourself
We have now opened a fourth Welcome forum. If you're joining us now, please post your introduction there. This forum remains open for replies and continuing conversations.
Welcome to Integrating Virtual Labs in STEAM Teaching!
Take a moment now to tell your fellow participants a bit about yourself.
We have participants from around the world here, with different experiences, interests and goals. This forum is a chance to learn who you are sharing this course with and start building a learning community together.
This first post in the course does not have to be long, but good things to include are:
- where you live,
- your professional role (for example, what you teach and at what level),
- what you hope to learn from the course and from others in the course, and
- how the course might fit into the rest of your life.
When you have made your post and read through a few of the messages from your fellow participants, consider introducing yourself and your discipline-specific challenges or opportunities in one of the IVLST communities of practice, or continue on to Module 1.
To get started, click inside the box labelled "Reply" below to open a window for your message. When you are done, click the "Post Reply" button. Be sure to read through the messages from others. To start building connections with others in the class, try replying to their posts and watch for replies to your own.
